Stacey graduated for the University of Richmond in 1995 with degrees in Psychology and Early Childhood Education. She completed her Masters degree in Speech Language Pathology from George Washington University in 1998. Following work in both the public and private school settings, Stacey began to observe clinically and research academically the connection between speech and language delays and reading disorders. Stacey returned to school to obtain an Educational Specialist degree in Reading Education from the University of Virginia in 2003. From 2003 to the present she has used her specialized knowledge in speech/language and reading disorders to treat children privately in their home or school setting.
